We spent the weekend of May 20 and 21 on our bikes again, but this time in nice weather, which accompanied us on long journeys. On Saturday, the traditional event of the Prague Services was held in Malešice, where Vlasta and Michal Budský rode together with parkourists and freestyle boys. The first demonstration was at the ramp and the second directly in front of the main stage. In addition to adrenaline on bikes, we also had the adrenaline of traffic. At the event, mini cars for teenage drivers were tested, which rode near our obstacles, and while assembling one of the cars hit the obstacles and squeezed them together just at the moment when Vlasta would have been in between. Fortunately, the driver stepped on the brake, so only the car lights were damaged and Vlasta went to change.
After the event in Malešice, Vlasta, without Michal, headed to Strupčice and its luxurious swimming pool complex. Who would have thought that such a small village could have such a nice sports complex? The whole event, led by Martin Šimůnek, was a bit intimate compared to the others, but perfectly prepared. We stretched it out a bit with a competition for the spectators and rewarded the young bikers with autographs.
Sunday was marked by trips to Wallachia, where one of the world's largest chip manufacturers celebrated. Unfortunately, the professionally prepared event was disrupted by an approaching storm at the end. Fortunately, improvisation is our domain and immediately after arrival, Vlasta and Michal prepared a backup option under a tent instead of an outdoor demonstration. It seemed that it was unnecessary, but in the end it did rain and we mainly rode under a tent. But at the end, there was also a joke and a jump from a trailer over a new Škoda Eniaq was prepared. It was a bit of a windshield in the wet, but in the end, even a double attempt worked 🙂
During the week, there were a few individual training sessions and a route to the camps, so there was plenty of fun.
