19/6 – Exhibition Everything on Wheels and municipal festival Prostřední Bečva
Two exhibitions per day for our team are just a sample of what our holidays will look like. Vlasta, Lukáš Valný and team legend Martin Šimůnek showed what they have at the vsenakolech.cz event. Last year they said it rained and the turnout was poor. This year it didn't rain and Kostelecké náměstí was packed, so we all had to go there twice. A beautiful event and admiration for the visitors and organizers for putting it on in that weather. Both of our entries were full and according to the feedback, everyone liked our efforts.
Marek Tryner and Michal Budský only rode one demonstration at the municipal festivities in Prostřední Bečva, but thanks to the fire and the cracked highway, they enjoyed a 7-hour car ride. They originally wanted to have fun in the bike park along the way, but were glad they had time to ride everything at all.
20/6 – Children on bikes – Prague Braník A-park
Literally at the last minute, Michal Maroši called to say he needed to drop by at an exhibition not far from us. We had Sunday off, so he sent us to Braník in the street at Ledárny. That really wasn't a good name for today, because it was around 35 degrees. Luckily, the organizer had prepared a water sprayer and the spectators could sit in the shade. A few children who survived the heat during the day and were grinding away on their bikes got our exhibition as a reward, and an adult with a chilled beer in his hand probably did too 🙂
