24/7 – Exhibition of the city festival – Nová Bašť
There's not much to add. Great atmosphere, relaxed spectators and us on the bikes in action. We're looking forward to next year.
1/8 – Municipal festival exhibition – Třtěnice
Immediately after returning from vacation, Vlasta packed up his car, towbar and colleague Lukáš Valný and set off for Třtěnice to show the local boys how to ride a bike over obstacles. At first it looked like it would rain, but luckily they had it all figured out in Třtěnice and they rode under a roof where the towbar and obstacles could fit. The audience participation was not bad and it was clear that they also had a promising biker community there to cheer them on.
2,4,8,9/8 – Teaching, teaching, teaching and children's camp – Říčansko
A series of individual lessons spilled over into the preparation of our August children's camp, which was blessed with good weather and a great group of boys who were flying like crazy. The camp ended with a small exhibition for children and parents. It was great to watch how the boys, led by Katarína Tóthová and Matěj Bedrník, progressed in just a few days.
13/8 – Exhibition suburban camp – Prague Počernice
A fellow biker remembered that he saw us at the exhibition and asked if we would come and show the children something at their camp. A bunch of young boys and girls in the middle of the forest in a gamekeeper's lodge and on their bikes for the whole week had a solid program. Due to time constraints, only Vlasta arrived at the event and instead of a classic exhibition, he did a workshop with technical education, but there was also a bit of jumping over obstacles and learning.
14.15/8 – Exhibition at the castle – Bílé Poličany
When a village celebrates its 750th anniversary, it can get a little rowdy, so the local castle and park were actually a festival of local associations, concerts by Czech bands, and other attractions. Martin Šimůnek, Čihi, and Lukáš Valný had the opportunity to entertain over 500 people in front of the main stage, and judging by the feedback, it was a success. It was great that a few former Trialists (current bikers) also arrived for a chat, and they said it gave them a kick, maybe to bring Trial machines back to the light of day.
