August 30, 2020 – Children's Olympics – Struhařov
It rained all day, but the weather was beautiful just for the moment when the exhibition was taking place. As they say, Lukáš Valný and Vlasta Kabeláč Čiháček had more luck than sense, as they set off for a quick exhibition literally across the forest from their home. The children were having a blast in the rain at the Olympics, so the performance of our team and club, in nice weather, was a nice change of pace. For us, it was a warm-up before the upcoming exhibition marathon in September.
6.9.2020 – Brno Sports Day – KS Omega Brno
Marek Tryner started a series of exhibitions in Brno, where he was finishing his studies a few years ago. Little Jířa Sehnal appeared as a guest at his side, and together they entertained the boys and girls at this event.
11.9.2020 – Road Fair Exhibition – Pardubice
Martin Šimůnek and Vlasta Kabeláč Čiháček met in Pardubice at a trade fair focusing on road transport. The local services area attracted a lot of visitors in beautiful sunny weather who were not afraid of coronavirus and appreciated the guys' performance, which slightly blocked the space in front of the main stage. There was also an interview on local TV - a classic 🙂
September 12, 2020 – 3 exhibitions in one day – Rouské Village / Nový Bor / Prague Zeleneč
Today, for the first time this year, we took out all our mobile parks and vehicle fleet. Marek Tryner and Lukáš Valný went to the village of Rouské (South Moravia), where they performed a bit of Trial action at local fairs and before that they had time to enjoy Trails on the mountain slopes. Vlasta Kabeláč Ćiháček, Michal Budský went with a trailer to Nový Bor, where Martin Šimůnek was already waiting for the Crystalex employee days. In the company's premises, a lot of attractions were waiting for the employees and their families, and in addition to concerts, two entries from our team. Martin Šimůnek then went to a smaller event (unfortunately, we don't know where yet :)) and Vlasta and Michal took it at maximum permitted speed to Prague Zelenče, where there was a children's day on the local meadows. Although there was not much strength left, Michal heated up the water bottle target shooting while jumping off the ski lift and Vlasta tried to move his record in sideways jumping despite the orthosis on his leg. He finished at 127 cm over the tape (3 cm below the official Czech record) and that's not bad after 6 knee surgeries.
September 13, 2020 – Exhibition at the Fair – Škvorec
As is usually the case, we don't do many exhibitions around our homes. They usually order us from a greater distance. The same thing actually happened now, when Martin Šimůnek was originally supposed to do the exhibition, but in the end, by coincidence, it ended up on our club and team shoulders 🙂 The local Fair near the podium became a Trial Park for a few hours for Vlasta, Marek, Lukáš and Matouš Balík. But the little things from the club also arrived for a look, or a test of the test track that we passed.
18 and 19.9.2020 – City Festival Říčany and Individual in Trutnov
Normally we don't mention individual trainings much in our reports, but now we will make an exception for this marathon. Marek Tryner trained in Prague, Vlasta for a change on the Trutnov trails as part of the BIKESKILLS project. Vlasta then went wild with Lukáš Valný and young Mrlik from the club at the city festival in Říčany, where the poor turnout of people who were obviously afraid was already noticeable. Normally these festivals are a very popular event in the Říčany area. The exhibition location was deliberately chosen on a local cycle path outside the main event, so the spectators were practically only there during the passage of the peloton on historic bikes, but there was still the opportunity to get more carried away.
20.9.2020 – GIRLS TUNE INTO BIKESKILLS Camp – Tehov
At the request of our followers, clients and the surrounding area, we managed to organize a second camp for women and girls on bikes this year. One day full of technique, pump track and rides with instruction in the surrounding area was underlined by ideal biker weather. We spent the morning practicing the basics followed by a trip to Lesné lázně Zvánovice with lunch and a return trip along forest paths. Finally, a short workshop focused on bicycle repair and service, gift giving and a well-deserved rest.
