Today we broke the record for the number of riders (not counting accompanying programs at fairs). Vlasta, Martin Šimůnek, the kids from the club and Tobík Dolák went to the record festival in Pelhřimov, which celebrated its anniversary. Dalibor Šulc and parkour riders Ondra and Honza from Flow Vision went on a motorbike. Lukáš Valný and Michal Budský then went wild at a company event in Žatec.
The festival itself took advantage of the weather and in almost 28 degrees, records were broken all day long, concerts were held and it was possible to try out a number of attractions. Our team was located in close proximity to the main stage and had the task of both exhibiting and setting new Czech records in 3 40-minute main entrances. We left the first show without records, but they extended the show. In the second entrance, Vlasta Kabeláč Čiháček and Honza Daleký set a record in the long jump from a place. Honza snožmo and Vlasta from the back to the back wheel between two obstacles. Together, the boys got 5.6 meters in the final attempts. Honza also set a record in the snožmo jump for parkour. Vlasta did not beat his existing Czech record.
The last shortest entry at the end of the event was dedicated to the record of Dalibor Šulc, who set the Czech record for back wheel spins. He did 6 back wheel spins in place in 36 seconds.
We went all out for the demonstrations and unfortunately it was not without injuries. First, the parkourist Ondra broke his metatarsal bone in his leg, but neither the spectators nor the rest of us noticed anything until he started complaining of pain in his leg. Our youngest rider Márty Kabeláč, on the other hand, fooled around on the back for so long that he hit his nose and left his indelible pool of blood on Pelhřimovské náměstí. But for the last demonstration, he was back on his bike. Among other things, a workshop was prepared for those who came.
