We were supposed to go to the exhibition in Rohozná before Covid, but unfortunately you can't beat the epidemic and the event was postponed several times. Before the exhibition itself, we visited the Trial park in Hamry nad Sázavou, where we did a light training, which within an hour smoothly turned into cold and cloudy weather with wind. We put our bodies in order, so it was not worth risking injury and we set off towards Rohozná.
This village of 300-400 inhabitants obviously knows how to have fun and they prepared a pretty nice program with the support of the local football club, which was playing a match when we arrived.
The weather looked good when we arrived, but unfortunately the tradition of the last 3 weeks was repeated and Vlasta and Lukáš Valný with little Marty Kabeláč waited in the car until the rain stopped. After an hour it was clear that this would not just pass and the spectators wanted to have fun. And since the boys were the main highlight of the program, there was nothing left but to gather the courage and try to demonstrate some of the Trial art even in the rain. Fortunately, everything went without a major fall, even though the grassy area and our obstacles were slippery as ice.
The audience was great and appreciated the whole team for both their performance and their approach. We look forward to seeing you again in Rohozná in 2023.
