A bit of camping, racing and exhibition

The last weekend of September was marked by the camp, which was taken over by Marek Tryner for the men's group and Katarína Tóthová for the women and girls. The weather looked hellish in the morning and the forecast was not right, but as the morning progressed everything turned into a sunny day and in the end it looks like a successful end to the year. Vlasta devoted the day before the camp to individual lessons and preparation for the camp and the competition, which took place the following week.

The Czech Trial Forester Championship is a bit of a memory of the popular smaller Trial races a few years ago, which are run according to modified Openfree rules and also a bit of a parody of the current Trial under the Czech Republic. Despite the rain, a few enthusiasts gathered and in the end, 9 riders started in the adults category (against the originally announced 15) + a smaller children's squad. The race took place in a secret forest location, where it has been run for decades, but always about once a year in the dry. In the wet, it's a bit of a different league. The rules were adjusted so that the riders' performance and tactics were involved. Just so that they had to think about it :) Tobík Dolák won in the Elite 20” to everyone's surprise, ahead of his guru Lukáš Valný and Pepa Neumann. In the Elite 26” Vlasta Kabeláč Čiháček took the victory, ahead of Mára Tryner and Petr Jeřicha. The performance of the day was performed by Mára, who tried to erase Vlast's lead and kind of swam in the river, but it was a very interesting duel, with falls, brake slippage and drama at the end.

Vlasta, Lukáš Valný and guest Jířa Sehnal had an exhibition near Blansko the day before the race, where unfortunately the first named strained his back. The exhibition was saved by Jirka Sehnal senior, who managed to bring the sound system in record time, which was a little further than expected, and in the end the guys gave a full 25 minutes of fooling around, which we hope the spectators enjoyed and filled the entire available space around the obstacles.
