A record for the lookout tower and two team exhibitions - Miskovice and Hořepník
Sometimes ideas arise that turn out to be very far-fetched. Among them is the idea of Miskovic and Aleš Matoušek to try to climb the local lookout tower with 199 steps on a bike. The choice fell on Vlasta Kabeláč Čiháček, as the record holder for climbing up and down the Petřín Lookout Tower.
Because it was an exhibition show, there was a 30-minute demonstration first, where Lukáš Valný and Tobík Dolák had a joke. Vlasta then took a few minutes to rest and set off to conquer the lookout tower. Without training. The crisis was right after the first floor and gradually deepened. The stairs were small for the larger diameter of the mountain bike wheels and even the metal itself did not help much with grip. In the final, there were 1/3 more jumps than there were stairs. From the second floor, there were cramps and braking with two fingers. The goal was not only to ride up, which was achieved in 4:05 minutes, but also to get down and this is where the biggest problem occurred. The Cube electric bike that was available was great, but the stairs were small and without barriers at the railing to prevent falls. A total of 2 times it looked like a trip over the handlebars with the arrow down due to cramps in his hand, but fortunately after two pedalings Vlasta got a rhythm and was riding down the floors partly on the front wheel, so he was already safely in. Down in 2:5 min.1 and the total time of 6:56.74 min. is above expectations considering the preparation and conditions. "After this I had to pull myself together all day. Physically I have probably never been worse after any sporting performance in my career and it is physically impossible to compare it with a classic Trial. Fortunately, I will give everything there within 2 minutes and it is done. Thanks to the guys from the team, Aleš and family for their help and support." commented Vlasta on setting the record
On the same day, Martin Šimůnek and Michal Budský also went to the witches' exhibition, who made a pleasant trip to Hořepník. The weather was kind to them, the attendance was good, so we thank you for the invitation and hopefully again next year.
